old man and sea review

Ira Bullock THE CRAZY FISHERMAN The old man and the sea by Ernest Hemingway. Scribner paperback fiction, 1952. The genre is fiction. This story is about an old man named Santiago , who wanted to go into the sea and catch a great specie of fish called marlin. One day Santiago got bored of doing nothing because he went 84 days without fishing . He was an elderly cuban dude that wanted to fish . “ Santiago, a fisherman, has gone 85 days without catching anything, not even a tadpole. But he knows that his luck is about to change. For last time, he went for 87 days without catching a single thing, and came back with a huge fish.” Erika Sorocco, Amazon.com reviewer. I do agree with this viewer because it’s true that Santiago was done with fishing for 87 days . I chose this one was easy to read and to understand without the words that i didn't know. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (tmnt) comic book was same as The old man and the sea. One of the characters named Leonardo was kinda like Santiago by not fighting for 2 years because the turtles were relocated into different sections of the world after the Shredder was defeated. Santiago was done with fishing for 87 days. “ A man can be destroyed but not defeated” means that a man can be broken inside but he still keep reaching for his goal. for example like from Dragon Ball Z Kai, Vegeta transformed into a super saiyan for the first time and he defeated android 16 because goku had a heart virus and when the evil Dr Gero created two more androids and one of them was a girl. When Vegeta fought android 18 and he lost to her but vegeta said he’ll find a way to go beyond super saiyan. The connection that i have with this book is that you can't just give up your dreams and keep going for it until you achieve your goal. The writing style is great and some of the words that i don't understand still i can still see clearly.https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/PDm2Zhe_6aw57Y53nKI3itWm1BfRupChLG9VStfMLb-bVBbBTpb80QiGsiAoogWzsPK0FiWZKIH3iT1aVKtIQTLslUSmRmrePyaYU4qzmX4zmKiSfuxWZxKpWQ Ira Bullock THE CRAZY FISHERMAN The old man and the sea by Ernest Hemingway.
